Orange County Cherry Blossom Festival
The Orange County Cherry Blossom Festival is an annual spring celebration of Japanese and Japanese American culture in Southern California. Each year the festival brings together a broad spectrum of performers and activities that span the traditional to the contemporary.
The Festival has been inspired by and helped to fund an international student exchange program between Huntington Beach and its sister city, Anjo, Japan.

T H E C H A L L E N G E
The event was on the verge of cancellation, and was perceived to be more of a swap-meet style of an event. Code Four was tasked with inheriting the event, and adding better activations and better integrations for the Japanese American culture.
T H E R E S U L T
Code Four brought the three-day festival to life with cultural elements, food, entertainment and a night market festival. Since then, the event has expanded to host over 50,000 visitors each year.
Code Four provides production and management for the event, including electricity, structures, lighting, food & beverage support, audio, licensing, performers, stagehands and SO MUCH MORE.
