Jesse Burns

Jesse began his media career in politics, working on a gubernatorial campaign as a Senior Adviser to Governor Gretchen Whitmer. In that role, he helped build the momentum and cut-through that contributed to Whitmer’s historic election win.
After completing a Bachelor of Communications (Journalism) at RMIT, Jesse joined Nine News. Over the next five years, he worked across Melbourne, Sydney, Queensland and South Australia for Nine News and The Today Show, covering natural disasters, breaking news and major national moments.
Following his time in journalism, Jesse moved into Corporate Affairs at Asahi Beverages, working across some of Australia’s most iconic alcoholic and non-alcoholic brands, helping shape reputation, media strategy and storytelling.
Joining Code Four in 2026, Jesse brings the same pace, curiosity and narrative instinct that’s defined his career so far, creating bold, newsworthy stories and giving audiences a front-row seat to the daring world of Code Four’s events and activations.
